How to Deposit & Withdraw GP on Runelot (OSRS & RS3 Step-by-Step Guide)

Depositing and withdrawing GP on Runelot.com is honestly the easy part — but if it's your first time on any RuneScape gambling site, a quick walkthrough never hurts. Here's the full flow for both OSRS and RS3, from "I have GP in my bank" to "I have GP credited / paid out", with nothing skipped.

Before you start

Two things to have ready:

A Runelot.com account — free, 30 seconds, just an email and a username.
A RuneScape character with the GP you want to deposit (or an empty inventory slot for a withdrawal).

Pick the realm you actually want to play on. You can use both — but each balance is separate, so deposit on the realm you intend to play.

Depositing GP

1. Open the Wallet

Click **Wallet in the top bar. You'll see two balances: OSRS Gold and RS3 Gold, plus a big Deposit** button. Pick the realm and hit Deposit.

2. Pick your amount

3. Submit the ticket

You'll get a deposit ticket with three things:

A cashier character name to trade.
A world to meet at (usually a low-pop world to avoid scrapers).
A secret 4-digit code to confirm the trade.

4. In-game trade

Log into RuneScape, head to the world and location shown on the ticket, find the cashier, and trade them the exact GP amount you put on the ticket. They'll show the code from your ticket in the trade window to confirm they're the real cashier, not an impersonator. If the code doesn't match, cancel the trade.

5. Balance credited

The moment trade is accepted, the cashier marks the ticket complete and your balance updates. You can refresh the Wallet page or just open a game — your GP is there.

Total real time: usually under five minutes once you've started the trade.

Withdrawing GP

1. Hit Withdraw in the Wallet

Same Wallet page. Pick the realm you want to cash out in (must match a realm you have balance in) and the amount.

2. Provide your in-game name

You'll be asked for the exact RuneScape character name you want the GP delivered to. Spell it carefully — we pay out to whatever you type.

3. Wait for a cashier

Tickets are processed in order. During busy hours you'll usually be paid within a few minutes; during off-peak hours it can take a little longer. You'll get a notification the moment a cashier picks up your ticket.

4. Meet the cashier in-game

The cashier will message you in-game from the same character name listed on the ticket. They'll confirm the withdrawal code you see in your dashboard. Same rule as deposits: if the code in trade doesn't match the code on your ticket, cancel the trade.

5. Accept the trade, done

GP lands in your inventory, ticket closes, your Runelot balance updates. You can immediately deposit it back, redeposit on the other realm, or log out and enjoy.

Safety tips that genuinely matter

Always verify the trade code. Scrapers monitor RuneScape gambling traffic and sometimes try to impersonate cashiers. The code is your shield — it's only ever shown inside your authenticated dashboard.
Don't trade GP to anyone who DMs you first. Real cashiers only contact you after your ticket is in the queue, and only in-game.
Use the same account name you registered with for support questions — keeps things clean if anything ever needs review.

Common questions

Are there fees? No deposit fee. No withdrawal fee. You get exactly what you wager and exactly what you cash out.

Can I deposit OSRS and withdraw RS3? No — balances are realm-locked by design. If you need to swap realms, you'd swap GP through the standard RuneScape GP market and redeposit.
